On 19th of August 2015 the first Chinese ship based on M.E.S. design was launched. This 19800 dwt stainless steel Chemical Tanker is under construction at Ningbo Xinle Shipbuilding for the Shipowner De Poli Tankers (The Netherlands) and it is the first of two sisterships.

M.E.S. presence in China is further consolidated by a contract for the construction of TEN 25000 dwt stainless steel chemical tankers at AVIC DINGHENG Shipyard for the American Shipowner Chemical Transportation Group.
Before, between 2008 and 2010, M.E.S. surveyed the construction of SIX 110000 dwt product/oil tankers, built by the Chinese Hudong Zhonghua Shipyard.
