Marine Engineering Services of Trieste is pleased to announce that last 2012/01/05 at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (South Korea) has been delivered to the Italian Shipowner “D’ Alesio Group”of Livorno the Supramax Bulk Carrier “Giannutri”.
Last 2012/01/07 this modern ship, built under MES on site technical supervision on behalf of the Shipowner, has left the outfitting pier of the Shipyard to undertake her first journey.
The naval unit “Giannutri”, named as the island of the Tuscan archipelago, is sistership of “Montecristo” and represents the second Bulk Carrier of Dalmare fleet. The ship will be employed on international routes for the movement of cargoes as minerals, coal and grain.
