Marine Engineering Services (MES) of Trieste is proud to announce that last 13/11/2011 has been carried out the delivery to the Italian Shipowner G&H Shipping of the LPG H 10 “Scali del Pontino”.
The ship, designed by MES, has been built with a high standard in Besiktas Shipyard, Turkey.
The LPG “Scali del Pontino”, seventh of a series of eight sister ships, is a high-tech vessel having a total cargo capacity of 3300 cbm. The speed trials recently performed, have shown that the ship is able to achieved a speed of about 14.2 Knots with a main engine nominal power of 1950 kW (at 90% MCR with 15% of sea margin).MES wish to express gratitude and congratulations to Besiktas Shipyard and good luck to the “Scali del Pontino” and its crew.
