Last 2011/06/10, at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in South Corea, was delivered to the Italian Shipowner Dalmare S.p.a. the Bulk Carrier H 6077 “Montecristo”, named as the island of the Tuscan archipelago confirming the relationship between the Shipowner and its territory.
This ship represents the first Bulk Carrier of the Dalmare fleet that consists of Oil and Chemical Tankers. The “Montecristo” is a modern Supramax of 56000 Dwt built under MES on site supervision on behalf of the Shipowner. She has five holds and four cranes for cargo handling operations and is classed by RINA.
