On 27th of January the Sea Trials of M/T Giancarlo D were carried out in the East China Sea.
The achieved speed was 16 knots with 5100 kW adsorbed power.
This excellent result was obtained by a long series of hull optimization in Model Basin
The ship is a 19800 dwt Chemical Tanker IMO 2, built by Ningbo Xinle Shipyard for the Dutch Owner De Poli Tankers
Delivered during spring 2016, GIANCARLO D is the first ship with M.E.S. design built in China
